I like this. My only real complaint would be the hard panning, which was probably an intentional choice, but it's just something that never sits well with my ears, especially when wearing headphones. Even with that though, I loved it. I could tell you had a lot of fun with it, and that feeling is contagious when listening to it. Congrats on getting Frontpaged, this track definitely earns it.

P.S. I'd love to hear that 40 minute album this was part of. If you've released it, link that shit

GameBoyFireworks responds:

Thank you Towny!

Cool tune, it's got a lot going on and the mixing is good enough to accommodate it all. Well done

Fantastic beat even for FL drums, but it's a little lacking everywhere else in it's current state. You should repost when those lyrics get put in, I'd be interested to hear the results, they might tie it all together

Syntrus responds:

You like it detuned from what I have heard of yours. I won't be posting the result here, dudes on the spinnup. you know how it is.

Cool stuff, man. Curious, is this famitracker?

Bassclefff responds:

Thanks for liking it! I use FL Studios and NES VST.

That was great, man, just way too short

DJWholesomeBreakfast responds:

aw man thanks! i think at the time i was still sort of insecure with my singing, i should absolutely come back to this sometime soon as a full cover :y

There's something about slow Hawaiian music that really gets to me... Somewhere in between the dichotomy of relaxed, easygoing vibes, and the feeling of supine helplessness, it's just so... Incapacitating. I can't fight against it. Anyway, you nailed it pretty well, good job

fleepis responds:

you did an awesome job putting that feeling into words!! thanks for the review!

Neat, you may want to balance the stereo out, though. The right ear is much louder than the left. Anyway, Merry Christmas!

Low quality hasn't sounded this good in a while. Only weird part is it cuts off abruptly. Great work nonetheless!

raspberryhead responds:

Thank you for the kind words! This was part of an hour long jam session around the loop and unfortunately I can't find the uncut version. Glad you enjoyed nonetheless! I always find myself drifting back to this lofi sound.

It's a really cool song, but the mixing is pretty bad. I stopped minding so much half way in though, so it's enjoyable, just initially off-putting.

dhudson907 responds:

Yeah this is more of a demo to be honest, nowhere near ready to be put on my Spotify, but thanks :)

You're incredibly talented with that axe. Good to see another Indie-acoustic on the portal. Looking forward to hearing more stuff from you

I always enjoy feedback: good/bad/borderline-harassment/I don't care
