I've fucking hated everything you've ever submitted here, but this... I like this. For whatever reason.

thanks it means a lot :)

I demand more levels!

AlienPlay responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :D

This is ripped from brackey's unity tutorial. Not saying you didn't type the code yourself, but you followed an example that's been made countless times. I'm glad you're learning unity, but you should make something original

TheGreatGoat responds:

Yeah, it is copied from that tutorial, I'm just beginning to learn how to code and wanted to put something on Newgrounds, the next game I make will be more original.

Lost interest around level 100, which really says something because I have a short attention span. Are there a finite amount of levels, or does an algorithm generate them endlessly? Solid game anyway

JoanMartinezClari responds:

II have created an artificial intelligence that analyzes your plays and creates levels based on how good you are. Your level 100 can be more complicated than another. But always create levels that can be solved in a logical way. It is this same intelligence that gives you logical clues when you hit the bulb. xD. Thanks

It had a really promising start, with cool mechanics that were introduced well, but when it felt like everything was supposed to come together and give me some challenging puzzles, it ended. You should extend this, or make a sequel, it has a lot of potential

nyunesu responds:

oh, thank you!

it is really great to hear that about this game (:
i'll truly consider an extended version

I think the biggest flaw of this game is that the player is allowed as many rotations as they want before they're required to make a move. This game sets itself up to be a test of precise reaction time, but once I realize there's no consequence for going at my own pace, it fails to be challenging for me. If ending the game due to a missed rotation seems too hard for what you're trying to make, a better solution might be to make it so players can take as many rotations as they want, but they won't be granted points unless it's the first. That way it's forgiving, but still gives you incentive to act fast. Why not have both, in the form of different difficulty modes?

EDIT: The changes made definitely make it feel more engaging now (also congratz on getting frontpage)

BryceSummer responds:

Thanks for the constructive feedback, you've got a good point... I'm thinking I'm going to add an incentive to dot swap on the first rotation, but still allow the player to continue if they miss the first one.

Edit: Okay I've changed it so that when you miss a dot swap, it will increase the speed a bit (for the current dot only) and if you miss more than 3 it will end the game.

Took a shower with this running, came back to "out of memory", but the update says that's fixed, so that's good! From what I played before the crash I really enjoyed it. It's creepy, and I love shit that revolves around specific lore. My only criticism would be that it can get a bit wordy with some long texts, but that's a personal thing, objectively it's fine because the story it tells is totally worth it. Gonna wait a bit, then replay it all the way through

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much!!
You're right about the texts: they're a bit lenghty. They were even longer before, and I pruned them because I thought that was too much... hope their current lenght hasn't hampered the playing experience too much!

Fun! Always love your aesthetic

UltimoGames responds:

thanks Towny! The colors will test your monitor to the extreme, they are maxed out RGB colors (255,0,0), so they really pop. But they work best with black outlines or a black background.

Fantastic game, needs more levels!

joqlepecheur responds:

I will try to add some soon, with a couple new powers to spice things up

I was just telling my friend today about how you should add more to handulum. How uncanny! The game is great, glad to see you following through on some older projects

StuffedWombat responds:

<3

please dont get used to it :P

I always enjoy feedback: good/bad/borderline-harassment/I don't care
